Par-ky - Your Natural Wood Floor

Par-ky is a veneer flooring with a thin layer of real wood, called veneer. The real wood top layer shows unique patterns, rich colour variations, beautiful light reflections and lively three-dimensional effects. Because of this it is possible to distinguish the natural product from its imitations, such as laminate.

Moreover a veneer flooring radiates warmth and luxury and is easy to maintain.

Parky

Par-ky PRO

The Pro collection scores opimal in the price / quality proportion. It is a collection with more traditional wood species available in plank or 2-strip.

The collection consists of short, wide boards with satin and sealed finish.

Par-ky LOUNGE

The Lounge collection is the most suitable for intensive use. The veneer is glued on an ultra-strong high density fibreboard (HDF) which resists against heavy dents. This collection is finished with 8 layers of ultra-hard lacquer. The lacquer system makes resanding unnecessary. Therefore the Lounge collection is most suitable for projects.

The short, smalll boards in combination with a small bevel gives the veneer flooring an exclusive aura. The sealed boards are satin lacquered and the brushed boards are matt lacquered.

Par-ky SOUND

The Sound collection emphasises our exclusive wood species. These exclusive wood species are often unstable and very expensive as solid flooring. However, these species are achievable as a veneer flooring.

The long, rangy boards in combination with a small bevel and a brushed or sealed finish, results in a luxurious aura. Moreover the selaed finish gives extra protection for intensive use. Due to the thick cork backing you sense a 'solid' sound while walking on the floor. The feeling and sound are comparable with a classical, fully glued down wooden floor.

Par-ky SHINNOKI

Par-ky by Shinokki is the showpiece of the Par-ky collection. The 6 fashionable colours form a perfect match with the latest trends in interior decoration. The colours have been developed after an international colour survey for the shinnoki pannels. The uniformity in colour between panelsand the floor boards makes it possible to tune various elements of your interior such as flooring, walls and furniture.

The long, wide boards and the distinct bevel create an aura of solid wooden floor. Moreover, th ebrushed finish and the mat lacquer result in a natural, luxurious look. Due to the thick cork backing you sense a 'solid' sound while walking on the floor. The feeling and sound are comparable with a classical, fully glued down wooden floor.

Par-Ky: The Natural Wood Floor

By using the latest wood veneer technology, the manufacturing of PAR-KY and SILENCIOSO only needs 5 logs versus 100 for the production of traditional parquet flooring: your contribution to forest sustainability in our world of today. Real wood looks alive thanks to 3-D effects, its light reflections, its rich variety of colours and its unique patterns.

By applying 0,6 mm real wood veneer this alive effect can be achieved at the same time with a full glue/lacquer impregnation. The majority of last flooring technologies are all based on high density floorboard cores. Only HDF will allow wooden floors to resist to heavy traffic such as stiletto heels or falling objects.

All floorboards are finished with a state of the art Diamond Lacquer System (Dia-Pro). Either in a satin lacquer finish (PAR-KY PRO and PAR-KY LOUNGE), or in a matt finish (PAR-KY LOUNGE BRUSHED and SILENCIOSO) All floors are suitable for domestic and/or light commercial use according to the European Standard for Wood Veneered Floorcoverings EN14354.

The modern floating floor system allows Par-ky floors to stay flat and crack free forever, winter or summer. All floorboard edges are covered with Total Aqua Seal and provided with the licenced Uniclic system. All Par-ky and Silencioso come with a 15 years Warranty.

Par-ky Flooring Benefits

Parky - Environmentally friendly engineered hardwood flooring. We do not carry a solid timber range because the Parky flooring in the Silencioso, Lounge and Pro are considered equally if not more durable.

The range of floors comes with the following benefits over a hardwood floor:

1. Has a high abrasive resistance due to the 8 coats of patented "Diamond Pro" finish - can run a steel brush over the floor and it will not scratch
2. Highly resistant to dents from high heels - given they still have a sole in tact
3. 15 year new for old replacement warranty for residential application and 10 year new for old replacement warranty for commercial applications - which hardwood suppliers will not give you
4. Will not bow, buckle or seperate across the floors like hardwood floors can
5. The HDF core is as dense as some of the hardest solid timber floors available on the market
6. Parky floors have been laid in gymnasiums and car showrooms. Some car showrrom projects include: Maybach, Mercedes Benz, Jaguar, Range Rover, Land Rover. The Hilton hotel has even laid the floors in some of their free weight gymnasiums.
7. Exotic harwood timber floors at affordable pricing - an example of this is the Ebony Macassar flooring we have. We sell this for approximately $190 sqm, while in a solid Ebony would cost about $2,500 sqm.
8. The floors can be easily repaired if damaged by either:
* Detaching the skirting, and unlocking the panels to replace the damaged one
* Cutting out the damaged panel and gluing the new panel into place
* If a dent does happen to occur from a large object, a hot iron with polished face, can be run over the floor to lift the dent out.
* If the floors are damaged by sharp objects like scissors or a knife, we have an oxidative chemical that acts to minimise the appearance of the damage
9. For the first time in Australia and New Zealand, consumers will not be limited to the generic species available to date. Their options will be opened to a an incredible range of species to suit the most descerning of individuals.
10. Floors are suitable for underfloor heating are anti-static and anti-allergenic.
11. They are the most environmentally friendly real timber floors available in the world - From 1 cubic metre of wood a traditional hardwood floor will cover approximately 25 sqm, other engineered floors 4-5mm thick in top layer will cover approximately 225 sqm; where Parky flooring will cover in excess of 800 sqm of floor surface area.
12. Once the warranty has expired the option remains to have the floor sanded and lacqured to add a further few years to the floors.
